I have this... something must be wrong with servers. The university is apparently aware of this error and say on their guide to change the value on 'both network adapters'. I don't notice any difference in the network connection, just a drop in XBox Live.

If you have a router (such as a residential WiFi router), this process is very easy. Check the comment section. I was able to use the old 2wire 2701hg-b as the router for LAN connections but cannot seem to get the wireless to do so. That is crazy! 2.
