I have some freeware installed, all the nekoware, I have fixed all my paths for both distributions - Nekoware is first in the path environment variable... However, if you are running the OpenGL-based screen savers on a machine that does not have a video card with 3D acceleration, they will make your machine slow, despite nice (1). PATH to find the sub-programs to run.
