At any rate, I'd appreciate if you could give a try to the 1.4.11 ALPHA version and confirm that you can at least create the flash drive successfully in Rufus. I'd try to run a bad blocks check, which Rufus can do, and see what happens. I'll see if I can get my hands on one such device to see if I can replicate the issue. Turn the burning option off in ConvertX and output to a folder or iso.
