I don't think it's a virus because I've run the malaware scan. My old asus motherboard would do this and it worked fine until I got a new graphics card then I had problems until I set it back. I wonder if the lan did a auto update and if you did that clean tool and reinstalled the new lan driver something may have got crossed in some way??

And when you say to disable shadowplay you mean in the task manager correct? Restarted figuring it was some random error. I am sure they feel the same way. It has been working for three years without any problems.
I didn't get the nvlddmkm.sys message again for 2 days, but World of Warcraft still wouldn't work. I googled how to do that and went to the regedit but the BFE folder isn't even there. As for giving it more time, the BSoD isn't the only issue, my screen will go black then back to normal quite often. The graphics card drivers have to produce sound for HDMI and display port cables going to your monitor speakers even if you don't have speakers.
