  • If you are installing from a CD, there might be a probelm with the disc; try cleaning the disc or using another disc.

Now it stops at 39mins and gives the same error as the person above. Go to start back up, and windows (7) is BSODing on me. But it stopped by CRC problem.

That is to use Dban to completely wipe all contents of the hard-drive. I'd fire up SpinRite on the original drive.
