Join Now I have a Windows Server 2008 VM that has stopped getting updates.  When ever I run the check for windows updates I get Error Code 80072EFD. I can successfully ping the server by name. When Customer attempts to access http://wsus:8530 he is prompted for a username and password This to me sounds like permissions issue. I checked the Windows Update Log file and got the below.
