Windows Update 8000ffff Error For Windows Vista


Apparently the KB292777 DOES install correctly, but Vista for some reason doesn't recognize that it's installed and so keeps prompting you. Some keys in the Windows Vista registry are corrupt. I am unable to remove the Hot Fix, I get the same message reported by others - Some updates could not be removed. I did that it took about an hour and a half, after which it said that it failed because the computer I'm using was not compatible with Vista Home Premium. have a peek here
