Look for the column HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Audio Double click on "DisableProtectedAudioDG" appearing in the right window. i tried the registry idea… no luck, tried uninstalling samsung… didn't have it to begin with… so i uninstalled all things to do with my mobile (sony ericsson)… that almost worked It's got to be one or more of the updates installed (pre-wipe I had not installed many updates).
