Error was: That photo is too big. Avatars don't let you choose the upload folder and changing of avatars plugin will reset all of your avatars. If that plugin use database to store avatar info then it won't work I think. From what i read most plugins utilise this wordpress bundled function and i guess this could be a good starting point for further investigations.
